Background

Paintings

My work is represented by Jack Fischer Gallery in San Francisco. In addition to six solo exhibitions at Braunstein/Quay Gallery in San Francisco, I have had one person shows at Artemisia Gallery, Chicago; Intersection for the Arts, San Francisco: Limn Gallery, San Francisco; and Galerie Eylau '5, Berlin, Germany.

My paintings have been in exhibitions at galleries throughout the United States including Greg Kucera Gallery, Seattle; Mary Ryan Gallery, New York; John Davis Gallery, Hudson, NY; Jan Baum Gallery, de Soto Gallery, Los Angeles; Robischon Gallery, Denver; LewAllen Contemporary, Santa Fe; Marc Chagall Museum, Vitebsk, Belarus; and the Oakland Museum, Oakland, CA.

Awards

Painting residencies I have been awarded include Yaddo, Djerassi Resident Artists Program, Atlantic Center for the Arts, Blue Mountain Center, and Headlands Center for the Arts Affiliate Artist Program.

I have received a Fleishhacker Foundation San Francisco Bay Regional Painting Fellowship.

Two of my paintings are in the permanent collection of the Oakland Museum. My work is part of private and corporate collections, including the David & Lucile Packard Foundation and the Kaiser Foundation.

Illustration

I have created illustrations for corporate and non-profit organizations such as the Andrew Goodman Foundation, Verité, Real Music and a national Earth Day campaign. My illustrations have been featured in the Japanese publication Illustration Magazine and my artwork has appeared as cover art for the recently published book, Magical Moments of Change, by Dr. Lenore Terr.
